Another busy year at Dux Farm, culminating in the completion of the initial project taking a run down smallholding and creating a compact luxury holiday retreat.

Following the refurbishment of the three period houses and having successfully installed three new glamping pods in 2024, the team were able to complete the Conservatory Complex by Easter as planned, using our excellent builders Peter Prouse Construction based in Holsworthy, Devon

The main feature of this space, apart from the sauna, jacuzzi  and staff laundry, was to provide a Treatment Room for Massage Therapy which is an additional service offered to guests, undertaken by Michelle Langley, a qualified massage therapist.

In the summer the pond meadow was upgraded, as can be seen from the image to the right. This included treating the pond to remove duck weed and other growth and installing two aerating fountains. The installation of a custom built bridge leading to the duck house island, finished the job! The moor  hens and ducks were dubious of the fountains to start with, but have now returned.

So as we move towards Spring, all eyes are on maintaining what is now an excellent holiday retreat.
